A. Neurophysiology/neuroanatomy of neurologic conditions
B. Neurophysiologic testing (to include techniques, instruments, interpretation, uses, safety, etc.)
C. Neurophysiology in treatment of diseases (including neurostimulation and chemodenervation as used in treatment of disease)
D. Other topics
Previous Publication or Presentation
Abstracts which have been published in journals, meeting proceedings, or other publication, as well as those presented at meetings prior to the 31st ICCN meeting are eligible and welcome for submission.
All abstracts presented at ICCN 2018 will be published on the meeting app and following the meeting in Clinical Neurophysiology.
All abstracts submitted will be reviewed, evaluated for scholarly and relevant content, and graded in blinded fashion by the ICCN 2018 Program Planning Committee (PPC). The review process takes approximately six weeks, and acceptance notification will be made by email no later than January 31, 2018.
By submitting an abstract to ICCN 2018, abstract authors agree that at least one author will attend the meeting and will be available to present on the date and at the time assigned by the Program Planning Committee. Authors will be notified of presentation dates and times at the time of notification of acceptance and are expected to make appropriate travel arrangements to ensure that at least one of the abstract’s authors will be in attendance. In addition, presenting authors are expected to register to attend the meeting by March 15, 2018 to confirm participation.
Posters will be presented on Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5. Platform presentations will occur on Thursday, May 3 and Friday, May 4, 2018.
Platform Presentation Cancellation Policy
At least one author or co-author of all platform presentations is expected to register to attend ICCN 2018 by March 15, 2018. If an author or co-author is not able to attend the meeting to present in person, it is expected that the abstract will be withdrawn no later than March 15, 2018 so that an alternate presentation may be selected.
Poster Presentation Cancellation Policy
At least one author or co-author of all poster presentations is expected to register to attend ICCN 2018 by March 15, 2018. If an author or co-author is not able to attend the meeting to present in person, it is expected that the abstract and poster will be withdrawn no later than March 15, 2018.
Advance Presentation Submission Requirement
Abstracts selected for platform presentations will be part of the ICCN 2018 CME Program and are subject to review by the ACNS CME Committee. Presenters will be required to complete a Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosure Form and may be required to submit their slides for review prior the meeting for formal review. The CME Committee may require small or significant changes if it is determined that commercial bias is present in the presentation. Failure to submit the COI form, slide presentation or to address pertinent CME review issues will result in the presentation being withdrawn from the program.
